Publishing also requires developer accounts: Google Play currently charges a one-time USD 25 registration fee, while Apple Developer Program membership is USD 99 per year or the local equivalent offered by Apple.
After launch, budget for maintenance, new Android and iOS versions, error monitoring and improvements based on user behaviour. An app that is abandoned after release quickly loses reliability.
