Blur Faces ("the App") helps you protect identity in photos by blurring faces before you share them. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you interact with the App or visit apphamza.com/blurapp.
- No account required. Everything runs locally unless you opt in to optional services.
- Minimal data collection. We only store preferences on your device.
- Ads & analytics. Google AdMob may collect device-level identifiers to serve ads.
- Support anytime. Contact admin@apphamza.com for privacy questions.
The App does not require you to create an account. We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or precise location. We access device storage only after you grant permission, and the content stays on your device unless you explicitly export or share it.
- Images & Media
- The App processes photos locally. We do not upload, store, or inspect your media on our servers.
- Usage Preferences
- Settings such as your language choice are saved on your device using local storage. You can reset them by clearing the App data.
- Diagnostic Logs
- If the App crashes, your device operating system may generate anonymized crash logs. These logs can be sent to us only if you opt in via the platform's crash reporting tools.
The App integrates selected third-party SDKs to deliver core functionality. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies.
- Google AdMob
- We display banner and interstitial ads using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect advertising identifiers (e.g., AAID) to personalize content in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can manage ad personalization in your device settings.
- React Native Libraries
- React Native and related libraries operate locally on your device. They do not send personal data to our servers.
Data collected through the App is used solely to provide and improve functionality:
- Apply blur effects to selected areas in photos.
- Remember user preferences (e.g., language, last-used blur intensity).
- Serve contextual ads and analyze engagement metrics in aggregate.
- You can revoke storage permissions at any time in your device settings.
- You can reset the App by clearing data/cache from the system settings menu.
- To manage personalized ads, update your Android advertising ID preferences or use Google Play's privacy controls.
- If you contact us, you may request deletion of any information you voluntarily shared over email.
The App is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided us with personal information, please reach out so we can delete it promptly.
We may revise this privacy policy to reflect new features, regulatory requirements, or security updates. The "Effective date" above will change when we publish revisions. Continued use of the App confirms your acceptance of the updated policy.
